Staff at the Wiggins Library played their part to remind library users of the AIDS epidemic during the World AIDS Day celebrations.

The Senior School of Our Lady Fatima Convent in Durban North, together with pupils form Chesterville High School, collected soap and face cloths to help make comfort bags for the victims of rape at the Trauma Centre at the Cato Manor Police Station.

The Chesterville Hospice recently held a Christmas party for its patients. The Hospice has more than 30 patients under its care. It also has a home based care programme for the terminally ill. For more information contact Nkosazana on 083 785 5532.
